By heat pump operation only, the outdoor unit delivers a leaving water temperature of 70°C at -15°C ambient temperature. Outdoor unit extracts heat from the outdoor air, even at -28°C. Daikin Altherma is suitable for all climates, even withstanding severe winter conditions with an operation range down to -28°C

Is My Home Suitable
When carrying out retrofit installations within existing Homes, in many instances it has been advantageous to install a High Temperature Heat Pump which has the capability of delivering a higher flow Temperature or Leaving Water Temperature therefore reducing the necessity in some instances to upsize radiators. However, that being said, it is still good practice to upsize emitters accordingly so to run the system at an even lower Flow Temperature, encouraging a better efficiency
